A few of us went to see Afrirampo at Cargo last week. I talked about them before on LJ; they’re a rocking noisy thrashy punky pair from Japan: Oni and Pika. The gig was fantastic and the two of them have a really childish fun vibe. I had a hunt through YouTube for some video and there’s a couple that seem to give you an idea of how silly and funny one of their gigs are. If you get a chance in the future, you can do a lot worse than have a night out at one of their gigs – you’ll become an instant fan.
