I didn’t take many photographs at New Year’s, but those I did take were on expired polaroid film. Expired polaroid film is much like normal polaroid film. You never have a clue how anything will come out and you have very little say in the settings of your photograph. There is, however, something wonderfully physical about having your photos instantly there to show around at a party. The one above I remember drunkenly passing around anyone who would listen saying, “Lookit this, this is brilliant! Look!”
